Al Koor Tourism

www.alkoortourism.com

Al Koor Tourism, established in 2005, was born of Piero Rossi’s fascination with the simplicity and unique beauty that desert life and travel can inspire. An Italian by birth, Piero has spent over 30 years traveling and exploring North Africa and the Middle East, and has brought some of the region’s most isolated locations into the reach of international tourism. His trips focus on conveying the essence of Oman’s nature, history and experiences to travellers; the deafening silence of endless sand dunes, inspiring beauty of rugged mountain ranges, the tranquillity of beautiful white beaches, its fascinatingly varied culture and history.

With a wealth of expedition and hands on exploration knowledge to call on, Piero and his team specialise in providing travellers with authentic experiences. Utilising 4WD vehicles, comprehensive camping set-ups and a deep knowledge of Oman, his trips combine comfort with the thrill of exploration.

For those who wish to discover the Sultanate in luxury, Al Koor Tourism offers personalised itineraries with overnight stays in 4 and 5 star hotels, allowing for days full of excitement and wonder, and evenings of complete relaxation and comfort. The more experienced and adventurous traveller can take advantage of Al Koor Tourism’s ‘Self Drive’ trips, where all necessary equipment and gear is provided, ensuring safety while not inhibiting the thrill of independent travel.

Whether exploring the vast desert landscapes of the Empty Quarter, traversing the Hajjar mountain range, adventuring along the uninhabited coasts or experiencing Oman’s rich cultural heritage, Al Koor Tourism takes pride in its ability to provide trips rooted in inspiration, authenticity and giving each and every one of our clients unique memories that will last a lifetime!
